UCP Transportation
Every weekday, we provide transportation on a curb-to-curb, fixed-route service where our participants can ride the bus to their adult day programs. These programs focus on enhancing independence, activities of daily living, communication, employment and volunteer opportunities, as well as community involvement, for people with developmental disabilities like autism, epilepsy, intellectual disability, Down syndrome or cerebral palsy. Our buses provide more than 16,000 passenger trips each day.
UCP Shuttle
Eligible participants can also call the UCP Shuttle for door-to-door, demand-response service when they need a ride for a variety of reasons including shopping, medical appointments, visiting friends or family or simply to have their hair done.
The UCP Shuttle is an important tool that empowers people with developmental disabilities to experience mobility, independence and a greater connection to their community.
