Support UCP During the Big Day of Giving!

You’ve probably heard talk around town about the Big Day of Giving on May 6, the 24-hour campaign asking Sacramento-area residents to give where their heart is. But did you know UCP is one of the local nonprofits participating?

Here’s why UCP is getting involved in the Big Day of Giving – and probably why you will want to get involved too!

  1. Sacramento is home to many nonprofits doing excellent work in our community. But households in our region actually give 11% less than the national average. This is a chance for everyone to mobilize!
  2. Giving on May 6 stretches your dollar because numerous local businesses and organizations are providing matching dollars. Your gift goes farther on May 6!
  3. Giving on May 6 sends a message that it’s important to support nonprofits close to home. Only 63% of our region’s donations go to local organizations. But on May 6, 100% of donations will support our neighborhoods.

So mark your calendar and log onto GiveLocalNow.org on May 6!

We hope you’ll consider giving to UCP of Sacramento and Northern California to empower local people with developmental disabilities to live life without limits!
