Improving your fitness and the lives of others.
September 2-29, 2015
United Cerebral Palsy is building a movement for the over 50 million Americans with disabilities, so LET’S GET MOVING!
STEPtember is a month-long challenge that urges you to take 10,000 steps a day, the daily recommendation for maintaining a healthy lifestyle even though the average office worker only finds his/herself taking 3,000 steps a day! Through team fundraising and friendly competition, this event empowers participants to improve their own health and well-being while advocating for individuals across a spectrum of disabilities that may not be able to step themselves.
Are you up for the challenge? Then STEP IT UP to 10,000!
- STEP ONE: BUILD your team and discover how you can step, run, jump, swim, cycle, and move your way towards furthering UCP’s mission.
- STEP TWO: RAISE funds that will create opportunities and provide support services for disabled individuals within your own community and their families.
- STEP THREE: CLIMB the mountains. When recording your daily activity, watch yourself progress around the world with each and every step.
10,000 Steps a Day. 28 Days. 1 Goal.
