UCP’S annual Humanitarian
|
The Humanitarian of the Year Award is an annual award given to individuals or organizations that have displayed a passion for life and a sincere desire to work toward enhancing the lives of others. Many of our award winners have made a significant contribution toward helping people with developmental disabilities like autism, epilepsy, intellectual disability, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
On May 13th, Sacramento's PREMIER humanitarian event exceeded expectations: 460 people attended this 17th annual event and raised over $166,000. It was apparent why Dr. Brice Harris was honored by UCP as the Humanitarian of the Year. Dr. Harris' long list of accomplishments and his personal values were evident to all in attendance.
