Fund a Success at Our Humanitarian Dinner!
Sacramento’s premier humanitarian event – and our largest fundraiser of the year – is on May 21!
At our Humanitarian of the Year Award Dinner you can Fund a Success – empowering a person in our community who, because of a disability they were born with, needs and deserves your support. Be a part of turning isolation into success!
$2,500: Give adults as much independence as possible. Your donation will provide 60 hours of instruction, teaching individuals self-help skills such as healthy grocery shopping, cooking, money management, using public transportation and building a neighborhood network. This is the gift of a future.
$1,000: Show your support for individuals with a developmental disability by giving them the opportunity to interact in community, honor personal choice and help them move with assistive devices. Your donation supports UCP Day Programs and helps individuals go from “I can’t” to “I can”. This is the gift of respect.
$500: Right now an individual needs a ride! They need a bus that is purpose-built to accommodate wheelchairs and other assistive devices. Without the UCP bus, they would be isolated from community. Your donation keeps that UCP bus on the road.
$250: Right now a child with autism can learn to make a friend! Autism limits a child’s world and abilities to form friendships. The UCP Autism Center for Excellence teaches children how to be a friend and learn how to do the same activities as their peers. Your donation puts a confident smile on a child’s face.
$100: Right now a family with a child needs respite! A UCP team member goes to a family’s home so that the caregivers can be refreshed, reducing their stress and keeping the family intact. Your donation says to that family, “We are with you.”
